Panasonic Wall Mounted Split Type Air-Conditioner and Panasonic Wall Mounted Multi-Split Type Cooling Air-Conditioner Extra-care Scaffolding Supporting Plan Terms & Conditions:

 

  1. The special offer is valid for the Panasonic split-type air conditioner purchased from 1/7/2024 onwards only.
  2. This Plan offers scaffolding support from Shun Hing Electric Service Centre Ltd (hereinafter referred to as “The Company”). Customer can choose to purchase Panasonic split-type air-conditioner upgrade service plan - Extra-care Scaffolding Plan (hereinafter referred to as “this Plan”) for the purchased Panasonic Split-Type Air-Conditioner within 60 days of the purchase date.
  3. This Plan covers only the case where scaffolding needs to be erected for repair due to defect in product as confirmed by the Company, customer needs to arrange scaffolding with scaffolding company by himself/herself and the scaffolding fee must be paid by customer in advance. This Plan does not cover the following items. Additional charges shall be paid by customer:

3.1 Repair or replacement of cabinet, switch knobs, control panel, top plate, label on top plate or accessories of the product.

3.2 Rust removing, painting, modification or replacement of the cabinet.

3.3 Installation, removal, reinstallation or transportation of the product.

3.4 The product has been explicitly or implicitly modified, tempered with, altered or repaired in any way by persons other than technicians of the Company.

3.5 The product has been damaged through misuse, negligence, power interruption or abnormal voltage input, accident, natural calamities, or due to ingress of insects, foreign matters or liquid, corrosion or external factors.
3.6 The defect or fault is caused by reasons of not following the manufacturer’s instruction in the installation or operating manual.

3.7 The cleansing, dust removal and mould cleansing service of the product. The clearing of the clogged drainpipe, refrigerant leak finding, clearing of refrigerant pipes or reinstallation.

3.8 Removal and/or reinstatement of any decorations or facilities hindering the service work of the product.

  1. The effective date of this Plan starts from the purchase date of the Panasonic Split-Type Air Conditioner.
  2. This plan is not applicable to Panasonic Wall Mounted Multi-Split Type Heat Pump Air-Conditioner.
  3. From 1st - 12th month of purchase: For those who completed product warranty registration, this plan offers reimbursement of scaffolding fee twice and the maximum amount of reimbursement is HK$3,500 each time/incident/claim and customer is responsible to bear the difference in excess of the said limit.
  4. After completing the repair works, customer must submit the official receipt (issued by the scaffolding company) of the scaffolding fee to the Company within 30 days for reimbursement. If customer fails to submit within 30 days, the Company reserves the right to refuse reimbursement.
  5. Customer is responsible for applying the approval of scaffolding permission from their housing estate or related parties.
  6. This Plan does not cover any Employees’ Compensation Insurance on scaffolding work and Public Liability Insurance.
  7. This Plan is not applicable to the cost of scaffolding required for re-installation or change of installation location.
  8. This Plan is not applicable to general inspections required by customer when the product is functioning normal.
  9. The paid Extra-care Scaffolding plan fee is non-refundable or non-transferable under any circumstances.
  10. In case there is any inconsistency or conflict between English version and Chinese version, the Chinese version shall prevail.
  11. All Terms and Conditions stated are subject to change without notice.
  12. Our company reserves the right to reject the application of Extra-care Scaffolding Supporting Plan if the information provided by the customer on the application form is incorrect.
  13. The Company retains final deciding authority in case of dispute.

    Panasonic Wall Mounted Split Type Air-Conditioner and Panasonic Wall Mounted Multi-Split Type Cooling Air-Conditioner Extra-care Scaffolding Supporting Plan and Early Bird Maintenance Plan Terms & Conditions:

Customer can choose to purchase Panasonic split-type air-conditioner upgrade service plan - Extra-care Scaffolding Plan (hereinafter referred to as “this Extra-care Plan”) with an early bird maintenance plan for the purchased Panasonic Split-Type Air-Conditioner within 60 days of the purchase date.
    3. This Extra-care Plan covers only the case where scaffolding needs to be erected for repair due to defect in product as confirmed by the Company, customer needs to arrange scaffolding with scaffolding company by himself/herself and the scaffolding fee must be paid by customer in advance.
    4. For the Panasonic split type air-conditioner under normal use, the maintenance service covers free repair service and replacement of functional parts. Any defective part which has been replaced free of charge shall become the property of the Company. This Extra-care Plan, warranty service and maintenance service does not cover the following items. Additional charges shall be paid by customer:

    7. Travelling surcharge will be levied if service is required at Hong Kong outlying islands, remote area or restricted area. In case workshop service is needed, customer is responsible to deliver the product to our Customer Service Center or any place in urban area, and to pick up the repaired product from the same location.
    8. Normal maintenance service shall be provided within office hours i.e. 9:00am - 6:00pm from Monday to Friday and 9:00am - 12:00 noon on Saturday. No service will be provided on Sundays and Public Holidays except in the case of emergency and at extra charge.  For safety reason, service may be suspended without prior notice in time of typhoon or rain storm.
    9. Shun Hing Electric Service Centre Ltd (the Company) shall not be liable for any direct or indirect loss or damage to any person or property howsoever caused arising from any stoppage, breakdown or failure of the equipment.
    10. Nothing in this contract confers or purports to confer on any third party any benefit or any right pursuant to the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance (Cap. 623) to enforce any term of the maintenance certificate.
    11. In case there is any inconsistency or conflict between English version and Chinese version, the Chinese version shall prevail.
    12. Our company reserves the right to reject the application of the Extra-care Scaffolding Supporting Plan and Early Bird Maintenance Plan if the information provided by the customer on the application form is incorrect.
    13. All Terms and Conditions stated are subject to change without notice. The Company retains final deciding authority in case of dispute.
