Warranty Renewal Terms And Conditions
ELECTRIC APPLIANCE WARRANTY TERMS & CONDITIONS
  1. The Maintenance fee shall be paid before the start of the maintenance period as stated on the maintenance certificate. Otherwise an additional inspection fee will be levied.
  2. Maintenance fee paid is non-refundable or non-transferable under any circumstances.
  3. The maintenance scheme covers free on-call repairing service, but reinstallation and/or general cleansing will be separately charged.
  4. With the equipment under normal use, the maintenance scheme covers all charges for repair, refrigerant refilling and parts replacement of the Home Appliance listed on this certificate except replacement of all cabinet, knobs & buttons, ornamental parts, consumable items, control panel, top plate, label on top plate, lid unit, door gasket, filter, remote controller, external/power cables, all painted frame, accessories and parts listed below, which will be separately charged. Any defective part which has been replaced free of charge shall become the Company’s property. Refrigerator (Crisper and glasswares), Wsher/Clothes Dryer (Tube, filter, inlet/outlet hoses), Microwave oven/Steam oven (Cooking tray, steam tray, wire rack), Massage Lounger (All rayon/PU coverings and parts covered by them), Warm jar (Inner pan), Alkaline Ionizer (Cartridge), Range hood (Rectification panel, oil cup, lamp, fan, duct adapter), Dishwasher (Basket, water inlet/outlet hoses, nozzle)
  5. Travelling surcharge will be levied to customers located at Hong Kong outlying islands, remote area or restricted area. In case workshop service is needed, customer is responsible to deliver the product to our Customer Service Centre or any place in urban area, and to pick up the repaired product from the same location.
  6. If workshop service is needed and building without lift or lift that cannot reach the delivery address, staircase fee will be charged.
  7. This maintenance certificate will be void if :
    1. The Home Appliance has been explicitly or implicitly modified, tempered with, altered or repaired in any way by persons other than technicians of Shun Hing Electric Service Centre Ltd. (the company).
    2. The Home Appliance has been damaged through misuse, negligence, power interruption or abnormal voltage input, accident, natural calamities, or due to ingress of insects, foreign matters or liquid, corrosion or external factors.
    3. The domestic model of the product is used for industrial or commercial purpose.
    4. The Company is not promptly informed of change of address or ownership of the said Home Appliance.
    5. The Home Appliance is not fixed installation on land.
  8. Normal maintenance service shall be provided within office hours i.e. 9:00am - 6:00pm from Monday to Friday and 9:00am – 12:00 noon on Saturday. No service will be provided on Sundays and Public Holidays except in the case of emergency and at extra charge. For safety reason, service may be suspended without prior notice in time of typhoon or rain storm.
  9. User is responsible for removing / reinstalling any decorations hindering the service of machine(s) and bear all costs incurred.
  10. In the event part(s) become unavailable because production of such part(s) is discontinued by the factory or suppliers, the sole remedy allowed under this agreement is a refund of the outstanding maintenance fee on a pro-rata basis calculated on the complete months being unused with our service.
  11. Shun Hing Electric Service Centre Ltd. (the Company) shall not be liable for any direct or indirect loss or damage to any person or property, howsoever caused arising from any stoppage, breakdown or failure of the equipment.
  12. Nothing in this Maintenance Certificate confers or purports to confer on any third party any benefit or any right pursuant to the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance (Cap. 623) to enforce any term of the Maintenance Certificate.
