Warranty Renewal Terms And Conditions
OFFICE AUTOMATION WARRANTY TERMS & CONDITIONS
  1. The maintenance fee shall be paid prior to the start of the Maintenance period otherwise an additional inspection fee will be levied.
  2. Maintenance fee paid is non-refundable or non-transferable under any circumstances.
  3. The maintenance scheme covers free on-call repairing service.
  4. Under normal use, the maintenance scheme covers free replacement of parts,
    except repair or replacement of software, cabinet, CRT, LCD display panel, print head, hard disk drive, consumable items (such as paper, ink box, cartridge, drum, developer and toner, vertification stamp, ribbon, correction tape, cassette etc.), connecting cables of standard accessories and repair or replacement of other external connecting cables, screen, power cord, framework and stand of electronic print board. Any defective part which has been replaced free shall become the property of Shun Hing Electric Service Centre Ltd. (the Company).
  5. In case a machine cannot be repaired because of the unavailability of spare parts during the maintenance period, the Company reserves the right to provide a comparable loan set for temporary use until the end of maintenance period.
  6. The following servicing conditions are not covered by this Maintenance Scheme.
    1. Labour and materials charges for replacing consumable items.
    2. Labour, materials and transportation charges required to relocate the equipment.
    3. Replacement of any part damaged due to abnormal power supply.
    4. Labour, materials and transportation charges required to clear faults caused by the use of inferior quality consumables, such as recycled toner cartridges on the machine.
  7. Travelling surcharge will be levied to customers located at Hong Kong outlying islands, remote area or restricted area. In case workshop service is needed, customer is responsible to deliver the product to our Customer Service Centre or any place in urban area, and to pick up the repaired product from the same location.
  8. Maintenance service shall be provided within office hours i.e. 9:00am – 6:00pm from Monday to Friday and 9:00am – 12:00 noon on Saturday. No service will be provided on Sundays and Public Holidays. For safety reason, service may be suspended without prior notice due to typhoon or heavy rain storm.
  9. This maintenance certificate will be void if:
    1. The equipment listed on this certificate is explicitly or implicitly modified, tampered with, altered or repaired in any way by persons other than technicians of the Company.
    2. The equipment has been damaged through misuse, negligence, accident, natural calamities, or due to ingress of insects, foreign matters or liquid, corrosion or external factors.
    3. The equipment has become malfunctioning as caused by power interruption or abnormal voltage input.
    4. The equipment has been installed with components or printed circuit boards unauthorized by the Company.
    5. The Company is not promptly informed of change of address or ownership of the said equipment.
  10. The Company shall not be liable for any direct or indirect loss or damage to any person or property howsoever caused arising from any operation stoppage, breakdown or failure of the equipment.
  11. The Company reserves the right to accept or reject any case of joining/renewing the Maintenance Scheme.
  12. Nothing in this quotation confers or purports to confer on any third party any benefit or any right pursuant to the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance (Cap. 623) to enforce any term of the Quotation.
